We’re recording this episode from sunny southern TX, where my wife and I are visiting our daughter, son-in-law and my two newborn twin grandchildren.  I’m recording this in my grandson’s quiet room, since he is currently at daycare.

Rather than releasing part two of the California series, I wanted to discuss one more time the James Beard Nominations, since the Finalists are being announced next week on April 2nd.
